How the heritage started & why we do what we do
About NAÄB
Born to transform the rules of jewellery
Naab is a brand that represents the art of working with clay using the technique developed by Maria Jose Rion. This technique focuses on using primary, natural materials without chemicals, employing slow and responsible processes that take care of every aspect, including primitive firings, handwork, burnishing, firing, painting, handcrafted silverwork, assembly, and packaging.
Timeless pieces blend the past and present, aiming to coexist in the future.
Each step is equally important. In the assembly process, we strive to make the pieces easily adaptable to everyone. Necklaces can be made short or long, bracelets can have pieces added or removed, rings are adjustable, and earrings feature different types of hooks.
What problem are we solving, and how are we solving it?
Addressing several issues:
Lack of authenticity: Each piece is UNIQUE. All tones and paintings are different from year to year. Every piece, created batch by batch, is special, authentic, and carries its own marks.
Waste of materials and generated garbage: If clay goes wrong, it returns to the earth and becomes soil; silver is melted and reused. These pieces, if broken, don’t need to be discarded; they can be repaired, extending their lifespans.
Short lifespan of products: The materials used are designed to last for many years. Double firing ensures their strength, colors don’t lose intensity; instead, they may even improve over time. If something happens, repairs are easy and uncomplicated.
Limited use for specific occasions: Naab’s pieces are versatile, suitable for various situations—whether at home on a daily basis due to their comfort or for special occasions as statement pieces. Their elegant and delicate materials and forms make them appropriate for any setting.
